2H19 The Prudence

Product of Telechron know-how, this new kitchen design provides tried and true Telechron performance with low cost and peak attractiveness.

Modern case, of moulded white or red plastic, provides harmony with your decorative scheme. Smart styling and high readability are important features. Black numerals and minute markers stand out against the 4 1/2" white dial which has vermillion hour dots. Minute and hour hands are dark blue. The thin, graceful sweep second hand is red.

Not their best work. The dial is paper. Telechron tried to do away with the bezel by friction fitting the movement onto four plastic posts inside the front of the case. (Same idea that ruined the Tempo). If you evere tried to remove the movement, you broke those posts and the movement couldn't stay in. That's why you sometimes see these with screws in the front. The crystals in these clocks were still being made of glass but the cases were plastic. Plastic was great for one thing: you could make it in nearly any color you could think of . These came in red, white or ivory but most kitchen clocks offered an even better choice.
